"The Hurt Locker": A victory for women!? The Oscars Academy grants an apology to the US Army!

Is a movie that “only” costs $11 million more « politically correct »
than a $500 million one?

They can’t see the trees for the forest.

Or more bluntly, had the Academy Awards wanted to grant ‘its’ army an
Oscar without thinking twice about it?

People will call it a ‘work of art’, a ‘movie’, ‘without an ulterior
motive’ (yes I’ve already read it somewhere...) etc

On top of it all, was the great March 8th pet theme: “wow it’s
awesome, it’s the first women director to get an Oscar”
or « Great, it’s the victory of small-budget movies against the big ones »

MY ASS.

This movie shines by the total thoughtlessness on what brings these «
mine-clearing experts” to do this “job.” The movie is so complacent in
its attempt to elicit thought about the invasion of Iraq and
Afghanistan. It is an exaltation of « courage » (in reality
recklessness and fanaticism), and an exaltation of the absence of
respect for one’s own life and the life of others.

And then I heard Kathryn Bigelow’s acceptance speech for her movie Hurt Locker.

And guess what this woman said, this woman to whom I award the title
of the most awful political and anti-pacifistic trash.
She dedicated her award to “women and men in the military who risk
their lives on a daily basis in Iraq and Afghanistan and around the
world.”

Really, Kathryn ?

You dedicate your award to all of them? Even to
Lynndie England, the notorious officer of Abou Ghraib prison who
tortured prisoners?

They really have a short memory in the world of entertainment and 24
hour information.

It sends shivers down my spine.

Go and watch the trailer if you don’t want to see this movie (a
decision that I’d completely understand):

Without considering them socialists, I used to naively think that the
ferment of social protest remained in the USA and that it could be
found partly, but not exclusively, in Hollywood.

I realize that even that is over now.

No one got up yesterday to protest against this dubious choice of the award.
Not even Sean Penn, who was there and gave the award to Sandra Bullock.
I am really disappointed with him.

This is a bad sign for the international situation.

The American Awards overtly applauded a propaganda pro-war movie!

Is this the meaning of the “Yes We Can” of Mr. Obama?

SHAME ON YOU!

More then a Conflict of Generation, Hurt Locker 6 awards against Avatar is a insult to intelligence.

Come on Hollywood are you so stupid that you given 6 awards to a miserable movie that only horrified people with a kid transform into a body bomb what in real never happened in history. What is the message of this movie, how can it be the best picture. Even myself with half of the budget of that movie on the same theme i do certainly 10 times better. You people have to now that your understanding of life and the way you live and react is part of history already. You are what we call the after world war II generation. You lived your life in total egoism and had more destroyed our planet then the world war II itself. You don't deserve that we call you Homo-sapience "human that has knowledge" I have found one better for you homo-industrialis that only know benefit, corruption, egoism and that have no respect for nature. In this blog i defeat the most intelligent of your generation to give us justification of your acts.

More than a Conflict of Generation, Hurt Locker got 6 awards against Avatar. It is an insult to intelligence.

Come on, Hollywood! Why did you give 6 awards to this movie that only horrified people with a dead kid that was transformed into a body bomb. This in real never happened in history. What is the message of this movie? How can it be the best picture, best director, best original screenplay, best sound editing, best sound mixing, best film editing? This is Hilarious! Even myself with half of the budget of that movie, on the same theme i certainly can do a lot better. For me, this movie is so boring and i saw that the camera men were not that professional and in serious mistakes on angle shooting. There is almost no music to increase the emotional part of the movie but when there's music, it's pretty good. The sound mixing is quite simplistic nothing special that made it the best. The screen play has no originality. The special effects are common. The script is vulgar like the words FUCK, FUCKING, FUCKER, FUCK OF, FUCK YOU, SHIT, BASTARD, DICK, CRAP, GOD DAM, BOLL SHIT, DAMMIT, MOTHER FUCKER, AS HOLE, BITCH. These words were said 137 times in 124 minutes, that is about 5 % of the script and i will specially discern to the movie the award of the most vulgar movie of the year. The beauty of the desert has never been shown. The scenario is jumping to one theme to another with no directive line. The enemies of America in Iraq using terrorism attack or guerrilla are shown more like demoniac serial killers than Islamic terrorists. Is this movie meant to give idea to serial killers because i am specialist in history and i have only seen one case of attack by body bomb suicide in Saudi Arabia, not in Iraq and it was not a dead kid. For the men tied up and sent as victim to enemy as a suicide bomb. I only know about one case in Birmingham UK but the victim was tied in a car and was delivered. We still don't know today if it was an Islamic attack. So is this a political movie again? I think so !!! I will personally give 3 points on 10 to the movie in memory of those who were killed trying to disconnect bombs. So let's just say that the decision to make that movie, the best of the year is more than Hilarious. look at the movie Idiocracy. You will learn more about yourself and stop giving awards. You are discrediting the profession.
